Meeting Title : Second Expert Group Meeting on Chemicals and Waste SDG Indicators Location : Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina Date : 11 th - 13 th February 2019 Partners : UN Habitat SDG Indicators : 11.6.1, 12.4.1, 12.4.2, 12.5.1 Type : Chemicals and Waste Brief Description Organized jointly by UN Environment and UN-Habitat, the Second Expert Group Meeting on Chemicals and Waste SDG Indicators was convened in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from the 11th to the 13th of February 2019 to bring together an international group of experts on waste management, environment statistics, and SDG indicators to review the progress achieved in the development of methodologies for SDG indicators 11.6.1, 12.4.2, and 12.5.1. Comments and feedback on the final methodologies were collected from the experts, who also discussed a number of technical challenges faced in chemicals and waste statistics.
