Labour force participation rate 15+, female

The female labour force participation rate is the proportion of females aged 15 (referring to working age population) and above that engages actively in the labour market, either by working or looking for work. In other words it is the female labour force (employed persons + unemployed persons) divided by female working age population. It provides an indication of the relative size of the supply of labour available to engage in the production of goods and services.
