Labour force participation rate 15+, male

The male labour force participation rate is the proportion of males aged 15 and above (referring to working age population) that engages actively in the labour market, either by working or looking for work. In other words it is the male labour force (employed persons + unemployed persons) divided by male working age population. It provides an indication of the relative size of the supply of labour available to engage in the production of goods and services.
