Water productivity or Water use efficiency change - Period 2005-2017 (SCP Indicator 5)

This indicator measures the change in water use efficiency over time. It consists of the change in the ratio of the value added in the volume of water use, over time. It is measured as GDP in constant USD prices divided by annual total water withdrawal. This indicator is tracked by MedWaves (UNEP/MAP SCP/RAC) and is part of the Regional Action Plan on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in the Mediterranean.
