Surface Plastics in Marine, Lake and River Environments: Number Concentration (items per km2)

This dataset is a compilation of all data produced by Oceaneye between 2011 and 2019 during several monitoring expeditions with the use of Manta Nets (mesh size = 330 um). The sampling and analysis methodology is described in Faure & al. 2015. The columns pc_num_km2 and pc_g_km2 feature respectively the surface plastic concentration in numbers of particles per km2 and the surface plastic concentration in mass per km2. Values are non-adjusted plastic concentration for waves height or wind.
