Sea Level Rise - Hazard Profile of Sri Lanka (DMC,2013)

IPCC 2007 temperature predictions for B2 scenario and elevation data from Improved Advanced Space borne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) were processed in a GIS system using 1984 WGS datum to estimate the sea level rise in 2025, 2050 and 2100 years. Respective coastal inundations were estimated using the Bruun rule using estimate sea level rise.
