Plastic debris density (SCP Indicator 14B)

Plastic debris density refers to datasets on plastic litter in the marine environment calculated according to given compartments, namely, beach/shoreline litter, water column litter, seabed/seafloor sediments, etc. This indicator is tracked by MedWaves (UNEP/MAP SCP/RAC) and is part of the Regional Action Plan on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in the Mediterranean.
