| source_abstract | This geographic information represents climate change vulnerability index for Colombia at the municipal level (depends on the nature, magnitude, and speed of climate change to which a system is exposed, and its sensitivity and ability to adapt). The spatial information is made up of both the vulnerability value on a scale of 0.1 and 1, as well as the degree of vulnerability (rating from very high to very low). To obtain it, an ACP was made for the sensitivity sub-index divided by the sub-index of adaptive capacity to climate change. Calculation developed by each municipality in Colombia (vector layer source IGAC 2014), using statistical software ADE-4, which functions as a library in the R environment (R Development Core Team, 2004). Subsequently, the vector information was structured in a file geodatabase. The product was prepared by the team of the Third National Communication on Climate Change (TCNCC) in 2017, a team made up of the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (IDEAM) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). ) |
