King Flood Map – 1992

Belize is exposed to the three major types of flood hazard: river flooding (fluvial), surface water flooding from extreme rainfall (pluvial), and coastal flooding from storm surges. The National Flood Hazard Layer for Belize has been generated using a state-of-the-art Global Flood Hazard framework, improved with local data where such data is available.
