Fertilizer consumption per area of cropland in 2020 (from SoED 2020)

Fertilizer consumption per area of cropland is given in kg/ha in 2016 in Mediterranean. Around one third of Mediterranean countries show national consumptions of fertilizers above the global average of 141 kg per hectare of arable land (World Bank, 2020). Fertilizers include nitrogen fertilizers, potash and phosphate (including natural lime phosphate fertilizers).
