Task Force on Target Setting and Reporting

he eighth meeting of the Task Force was held in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, on 2 July 2015, back to back with the Informal Review Group under the Task Force (1 July 2015) and the fourteenth meeting of the Bureau of the Protocol (3 July 2015). The main objectives of the meeting were to: • Review the progress in implementation of the Task Force’s programme of work as well as general progress by countries in setting targets and target dates. • Review the template for summary reports, as revised by the Informal Review Group under the Task Force in preparation for the third reporting cycle, and discuss possible revisions to the Guidelines on the Setting of Targets, Evaluation of Progress and Reporting (Target Setting Guidelines). • Discuss the scope of the future revisions to the guidelines and template for summary reports as well as to the Target Setting Guidelines. • Initiate preparations for the third reporting cycle under the Protocol on Water and Health.
