Workshop on Pilot testing of guidelines for updating of NIPs to address the new POPs in Serbia

National Inception Workshop on Pilot testing of guidelines for updating of national implementation plans to address the new persistent organic pollutants in Serbia was held from 6 – 8 February 2012 in Belgrade, Serbia.The objective of the workshop was to 1) introduce to participants the guidelines for National Implementation Plan (NIP) updating and related training materials and gather their feedback for revision of the guidelines; 2) facilitate project coordination by bringing together the project task teams, national stakeholders and international experts, and 3) gather experience and competence, and initiate national discussions on updating the NIP to address the new Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Serbia.
