Joint Workshop of the Rotterdam and the Stockholm Conventions for effective participation in the work of the POPs Review Committees (POPRC) and Chemicals Review Committee (CRC)

The overall objective of this workshop is to support the effective participation of Parties, experts and stakeholders in the Rotterdam Convention Chemical Review Committee (CRC) and the Stockholm Convention POPs Review Committee (POPRC). The workshop, which is co-organised with the Rotterdam Convention, targets Stockholm Convention National Focal Points, Rotterdam Convention Designated National Authorities (DNAs), relevant stakeholders, as well as selected past and current CRC and POPRC members from the region. As a result of this workshop and as part of the synergy process, participants will be aware of opportunities for information exchange and synergistic approaches in chemicals management at the national level, as well processes linked to chemicals’ review under the Conventions.More
