Briefing Session on the current status of collaboration between the ITPGRFA and the CBD

The objective of this Briefing is to keep Permanent Representatives of FAO informed on the current status of collaboration between the Multilateral System of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) and the CBD-Nagoya Protocol.
The Secretary of the International Treaty, Dr. Shakeel Bhatti and the Executive Secretary of the CBD, Dr. Ahmed Djoghlaf, will provide an update on the recent progress in the Treaty and Nagoya Protocol in both Secretariats and inter-governmental processes.
The session will be conducted in English.
