Briefing to Permanent Representatives to FAO

This briefing on the ITPGRFA is being organized by the Secretariat of the International Treaty to keep the Permanent Representatives and interested staff informed on the recent developments on the implementation of the Treaty. It will also provide a snapshot of major milestones envisaged in the 2012-2013 biennium of the International Treaty. The new website of the International Treaty will be launched and Dr. Shakeel Bhatti, Secretary of the International Treaty, will present the recent progress in the implementation of the Multilateral System of the Treaty and its Benefit-sharing Fund.

The session will be conducted in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
