1st face-to-face meeting of the Informal Group on Household Waste

Background: By decision BC-12/13, the informal group on household waste was requested by the Conference of the Parties to develop a workplan on the environmentally sound management of household waste with a focus on the needs of developing countries and countries with economies in transition. By decision BC-12/25, the Secretariat of the Basel Convention was requested, subject to the availability of resources, to organize annual face-to-face meetings of the informal group.Working language: English
