GEO Matters September 2019

The Inception Meeting of the Advisory Committee for GEO for Business was held in Paris, France on 24 September 2019 at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The meeting’s objective was to approve the work plan for production of the GEO-6 for Business, approve the timeline and come up with a tentative list of authors that will write the GEO-6 for Business. The Advisory Committee is chaired by Prof. Paul Elkins, one of the Co-Chairs of the sixth Global Environment Outlook and draws membership from key business Non-Governmental Organizations such as the International Chamber of Commerce and the World Economic Forum, International Labour Organization and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
