Zero Carbon Latin America and the Caribbean: The opportunity, cost and benefits of the coupled decarbonization of the power and transport sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean

This report shows that the transformational change needed to meet the Paris Agreement and reach net zero emissions by mid-century can be critically supported by coupling the decarbonization of the power and transport sectors. A coupled transition of both sectors would not only contribute to drastically reduce emissions but also has the potential to grow the region’s economy and improve public health.
