The Economics of Land Degradation Neutrality in Asia: Empirical Analyses and Policy Implications for the Sustainable Development Goals

The objectives of this study are to: 1. Assess the extent and severity of land degradation in Asia; 2. Estimate the economic efficiency of measures for the target of LDN in Asia; 3. Suggest LDN options, assess financing options and develop scenarios for the benefits and investment gaps of achieving it by 2030; 4. Map the impact of land degradation on food security, equity, youth unemployment and poverty, gender and health.
