This document has been prepared on the basis of the study entitled "The Current State of International Environmental Law in Latin America and the Caribbean", prepared in collaboration with Mr. Alberto Székely, UNEP consultant. It contains the final version of that study, submitted to a Meeting of Legal Experts on the Current State of International Environmental Law in Latin America and the Caribbean. And it also includes the conclusions and recommendations of the experts who participated in that Meeting.
