Roadmap for Low-Carbon and Resource-Efficient Tourism in the Philippines

The objective of the roadmap development is to provide a strategic plan of actionable goals and activities for achieving a low carbon, resource-efficient tourism sector in the Philippines, focusing on hotels, restaurants and venues for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE). This roadmap supports the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the development of Philippines’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the 2015 UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Paris Agreement, which should be published by The Climate Change Commission in 2019.
