Migration and Tourism Statistics - Seychelles

This is the 2014 edition in an annual series of Migration and Tourism Statistics. Visitors Statistics are obtained from immigration embarkation and disembarkation cards completed by all travellers, and they are analysed in accordance with World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) recommendations. Visitors are classified according to their country of residence rather than their nationality and detailed tables are presented in time series of at least five years. Tables showing resident movement and migration are also presented. The National Bureau of Statistics compiles tables relating to Hotel Statistics from information provided by hotels, guesthouses and self-catering apartments. Their co-operation and assistance is gratefully acknowledged.
