The Project RAF/88/047/B/01/5, funded by UNDP, is a multi-disciplinary programme for strengthening of economic cooperation and integration among West African States within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). It consists of sub-projects on trade, monetary and financial cooperation, transport, industry and energy, agriculture, as well as desertification control/land resources management which are carried out respectively by the following Agencies: UNCTAD, UNECA, UNIDO, FAO and UNEP.
