London Guidelines for the Exchange of Information on Chemicals in International Trade Amended 1989 - Decision 15/30 of the Governing Council of UNEP of 25 May 1989

This set of Guidelines is addressed to Governments with a view to assisting them in the process of increasing chemical safety in all countries through the exchange of information on chemicals in international trade. They have been developed on the basis of common elements and principles derived from relevant existing bilateral, regional and global instruments and national regulations, drawing upon experience already gained through their preparation and implementation.
