This paper reviews the results of the studies prepared by the Mediterranean Task Team, that were presented at a Joint meeting of the Task Team on implications of Climatic Changes in the Mediterranean and the Co-ordinators of Task Teams for the Caribbean, South-East Pacific, South Pacific, East Asian Seas and South Asian Seas Regions organized in Split (3-8 October 1988) by the Co-ordinating Unit for the Mediterranean Action Plan in co-operation with the Oceans and Coastal Areas Progranme Activity centre of UNEP (UNEP, 1988).
