The chapter provides a detailed review of greenhouse gas emission reduction potentials in 2030 for key economic sectors. Sectoral emission reduction potentials, also called bottom-up potentials, provide detailed estimates of the level of emission reductions that is feasible within a certain sector or for a specific emissions category up to a certain marginal cost level.
