A Bibliography of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment June 1972

This bibliography is the first publication in a series devoted to the documents produced by the United Nations Environment Programme. The purpose of the series is twofold: first, it serves as an inventory record of the holdings of the UNEP Library as well as a user's guide and second., it is hoped that it will stimulate interest in the work of 1JNP on the part of interested organizations and individuals.

This bibliography covers the documents submitted by States1 the United Nations system, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations as well as other bodies and individuals. It also includes the documents prepared for and during meetings of preparatory committees, special working groups and the documents of the conference itself.
