Global Biodiversity Strategy: Guidelines for Action to Save, Study and Use Earth's Biotic Wealth Sustainably and Equitably

The Global Biodiversity Strategy was developed through a process of research and consultation beginning in 1989 and involving six consultations, six workshops, and more than 500 individuals. This report would not have been possible without the dedication and contributions of these many people. This report now serves as a common point of reference for government, the scientific community, and international aid donors as they try to strengthen biodiversity research.
