This note presents the key characteristics of multilateral diplomacy, the impact of Covid-19 on global meetings and negotiations, experiences and challenges of online global meetings and negotiations, conclusions and key questions for consideration by the Conference with the view to reviewing Africa’s position regarding engagement on substantive matters in online global meetings and negotiations.
