Information Note on the Development of the Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework - prepared by the Co-Chairs of the Open-ended Working Group on Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework for the Resumed eighteenth Session of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) (12-16 September 2022, Dakar, Senegal)

This note provides an update on the negotiations towards the adoption of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). The Conference of the Parties, at its fourteenth meeting, adopted the preparatory process for the development of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework (decision 14/34) and established an open ended intersessional working group to support the preparation of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
