Regression-kriging

A spatial interpolation technique that combines a regression of the dependent variable (target variable) on predictors (i.e. the environmental covariates) with kriging of the prediction residuals. In other words, regression kriging is a hybrid method that combines either a simple or a multiple-linear regression model with ordinary kriging of the prediction residuals.
