The World Environment 1972 - 1982: A Report by The United Nations Environment Programme

This volume reviews the state of knowledge about changes in the world environment since 1970. It concentrates on events known to have occurred. While the final section of each Chapter looks at the implications of what happened in the 1970s, the Report is not primarily concerned with forecasting (or speculating about) the future.
