This project on land use policy and land tenure in the and and semi-arid countries of post-independence Africa has spanned the course of just under six weeks.We have compiled information on the following countries: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. We intend on first presenting an overview of the land development policies in the above countries, focusing on agriculture usage.
