Evolving Environmental Perceptions: From Stockholm to Nairobi

This volume includes edited versions of the statements made at the Stockholm and the Nairobi Conferences. In terms of editing, the statements naturally have not been changed; what has been done is to delete sentences or paragraphs of transitory nature. The book also includes the Stockholm and Nairobi Declarations, as well as the Resolution on common environmental perceptions from the UNEP Governing Council and the General Assembly meeting of 1987. It thus shows how environmental perceptions have changed over the 15-year period of 1972-1987.
