Fourth meeting of the Environmental Network for Optimizing Regulatory Compliance on Illegal Traffic (ENFORCE)

The Environmental Network for Optimizing Regulatory Compliance on Illegal Traffic (ENFORCE) was established by the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention (BC-11/8). ENFORCE aims to promote parties’ compliance with the provisions of the Basel Convention pertaining to preventing and combating illegal traffic in hazardous wastes and other wastes through the better implementation and enforcement of national law. ENFORCE brings together existing resources and enhancing and improving cooperation and coordination between relevant entities with a specific mandate to deliver capacity-building activities and tools on preventing and combating illegal traffic.
