Community-based Disaster Preparedness (CBDP) Toolkit: The Afghanistan Resilience Consortium’s Guide to Building Community-based Resilience to Natural Hazards and Climate Change in Afghanistan

The overall objective of the community-based disaster preparedness (CBDP) toolkit is to identify the short-, medium- and long-term actions that can be taken with a community in order to address the underlying vulnerabilities to natural hazards and climate change. In doing so, the CBDP toolkit builds upon the data generated by the ARC’s Hazard and Climate Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (HCVCA) toolkit, which is the vehicle through which primary data on local community conditions, vulnerabilities, and capacities is collected.
