Overview of the Republic of Korea's Green Growth National Vision - An Interim Report

The objectives of the review are: 1) to explain a major change in strategic thinking and economic policy in the Republic of Korea, towards a “green growth strategy”, 2) to outline the plans that the Republic of Korea has put in place to achieve this strategy; and finally 3) to discuss the general approach and elements of The Republic of Korea’s green growth strategy relative to the issues outlined in UNEP’s publication “Global Green New Deal: A Policy Brief”, published in March 2009.
