Second Meeting of the Ad Hoc Third Party Beneficiary Committee

The Committee worked on the basis of document IT/TPBC-2/09/2, Information provided by
the Secretary in response to the request of the Committee, which had been requested by the
Committee at its First Meeting. It thanked the Secretary for the excellent quality of the document,
noting that in its preparation he had consulted relevant institutions and organizations, in particular
the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL); WIPO’s Mediation and
Arbitration Centre, Division for Public Policies and Development, and its Patent Cooperation
Treaty; and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
