Fact Sheet: Food Waste in West Asia

The State of Food Waste in West Asia report was commissioned by the United Nations Environment Programme West Asia Office. The report focuses on the current state of food waste in West Asia and on existing efforts, gaps and opportunities. As part of the report, 200 participants in 10 countries in West Asia took an online survey in 2020. Respondents were asked questions on food waste perceptions and habits - providing a greater picture of lifestyles and consumption patterns in the region.
