The State of the Environment 1976

The report is based upon the viewpoints expressed in discussions with various members of the scientific communities on emerging environmental problems of wide international significance keeping in view the decisions of the Governing Council of the United Nations Environment Programme during its third session about the review of the environmental situation and of the activities relating to the environment programme.
