Sustainable development planning in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka – December 2018

The reconstruction of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, after the end of the civil war, is a model in terms of sustainable development planning and building back better. The Northern Province of Sri Lanka was massively affected by the 30-year armed conflict, with a total of 300,000 IDPs in 2008 and is particularly prone to disasters.
