short_description The Global Marine Aquarium Database (GMAD) provides access to approximately 50,000 records of trade in live aquarium species and can be queried geographically (e.g. the number of fish exported from the western Pacific to North America) and taxonomically (e.g. the top ten most traded families of invertebrates in global trade). GMAD is now a legacy database, with the project having ended. Species+ and the CITES Trade Database (see 'related resources' below) both which provide additional, up-to-date information on species trade.
