Marine Litter in the East Asian Seas Region - A Report by the COBSEA Secretariat

The objectives of the review were to establish the current state-of-play in the East Asian Seas region, at both the regional and national levels, and to make recommendations and proposals for change with regard to: • Existing knowledge and data on the marine litter problem; • Existing instruments, programmes and initiatives on marine litter; and • Existing gaps and needs in relation to the prevention, control and management of marine litter.
